I have seen people shot in the head, dragged head first along the ground under a vehicle and seem to be just fine the very next day.

I looked at your query and determined that you are an atavist. Move to the back of the line with the waste please.

If me…. then I would describe a miracle as any act of God that was beyond our control, complete understanding, or power to interrupt. It would have been a miracle because God made it happen outside the flow of normal events. It wouldn’t necessarily be something that astounds us as “other worldly”. We could very well witness one and think not much about it, but because it was part of His overall plan (that many don’t care to recognize, or even if we do), he “reached in” and changed something that we were “hell-bent” to do otherwise. Personally, I believe the establishment of the Statehood of Israel in 1948 was a miracle performed by God as a work that needed to be done over a period of time. And I now look at that state of affairs in a different light. Of course a miracle done in the more (humanly) classic sense could be performed by God at any time. If God exists, and He truly is all powerful and the author of EVERYTHING he could do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. But I think those kind of miracles were done at specific times and for specific reasons that may not be very applicable today, but like earthquakes, they come when you don’t expect them.

The Humanist Codex So an occurrence that is unexplained by our current understanding of natural law.

If you witnessed an ACTUAL miracle that proves miracles exist.

What constitutes a miracle you have witnessed with other people? How far do the rules of nature extend? If a miracle actually occurred, would that place it within the rules of nature? What if it doesn’t work that way?
